LOS ANGELES (Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020) – The LA Galaxy have signed Argentine defender Emiliano Insúa, the club announced today.
Insúa, 30, joins the club after a decorated career in Europe representing teams in England, Turkey, Spain, Portugal and Germany, most recently playing for German side VfB Stuttgart. He will be added to the club’s roster pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and P1 Visa and will occupy an International roster spot.
“Emiliano is an experienced defender who has played for decorated clubs throughout the world,” said LA Galaxy General Manager Dennis te Kloese.
