LOS ANGELES (Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020) – The LA Galaxy announced today that the club has signed defender Danilo Acosta. Acosta, 22, has made 37 appearances in MLS as a member of Real Salt Lake and Orlando City SC. He was originally selected by the Galaxy in the 2019 MLS Waiver Draft.
“Danilo has experience in Major League Soccer and fills a position of need for our team,” said LA Galaxy General Manager Dennis te Kloese. “He is young and versatile, and we think he will continue to develop with our group. We are pleased to add Danilo to our roster and look forward to him integrating into the squad.
