The LA Galaxy selected a player with an interesting back story with their second selection of the MLS Draft on Thursday, selecting University of Denver forward Preston Judd with the No. 35 overall pick, No. 8 of the 2nd round.
Judd, college teammate of the Galaxy’s 1st round pick, Josh Drack, has already signed a pro deal, however, with Sporting Kansas City II, the reserve team of Sporting KC, of course. He signed there just over a week ago.
What does this mean? It means for now, the Galaxy hold the MLS player rights to Judd.
