The LA Galaxy have re-signed midfielder Baggio Husidic, the club announced today. Husidic, 30, signs ahead of his fifth season with the Galaxy.

“Baggio has shown that he’s a very reliable and dependable option for us in the midfield,” said LA Galaxy Head Coach Sigi Schmid. “He has more MLS experience than many players on our roster and we’re happy to have him back.”

With the Galaxy, Husidic has collected 97 appearances since signing with the club ahead of the team’s MLS Cup-winning season in 2014. Including a three-year stint with Chicago Fire from 2009-11, he’s racked up a total of 147 appearances during his time in MLS, tallying 14 goals and 17 assists along the way.
