CARSON, Calif. – Forbes Magazine ranked the LA Galaxy as Major League Soccer’s most valuable club in their annual valuation of the United States’ top soccer league.
The Galaxy were ranked first with a value of $315 million, which is a 19% increase from last year. Per Forbes’ estimates, the Galaxy generated an estimated $63 million in revenue last year, far surpassing any other team. Los Angeles currently hold the league’s most valuable broadcasting partnership with Spectrum SportsNet ($5.5 million per year) and stadium rights deal with StubHub ($10 million-plus per year).
Seattle Sounders FC ($295 million) and Toronto FC ($280 million) round out the top three in the Forbes list.
