Yes, this was a lot of games in a short span. Yes, the LA Galaxy were shorthanded. Yes, it was hot. That said, 1 point against teams that sit in the Western Conference cellar is not a good week. The Galaxy badly need reinforcements (specifically, Séga Coulibaly and Chicharito) and very much look like the walking wounded.
This was a frustrating first half where the Galaxy had the better play to start the game, but got beat on 1 play. Then the wheels fell off, and the dog days of summer hit. A series of poor defensive plays put them down 2-0 at the half, and they kept it up to start the second half.
