Guillermo Barros Schelotto’s LA Galaxy will open the 2020 MLS season Saturday March 7 at home against the Vancouver Whitecaps. The game is somewhat of a revenge match: Late in the year Marc dos Santos’ squad strolled into Dignity Health Sports Park and left with an inexplicable 4-3 road win, a result which ultimately cost the Galaxy a home playoff match.
Early next month the Galaxy head to Fort Lauderdale to battle Inter Miami CF in the expansion side’s inaugural home opener Saturday March 14th. Kickoff is slated for 11:30 PT.
