A standout in Liga MX with America and Club Tijuana, the Argentine international has wreaked havoc on MLS defenses in the CONCACAF Champions League and would significantly boost LA’s crowded attacking corps.
Adding to the intrigue is the possibility that Boca Juniors manager Guillermo Barros Schelotto could accompany Benedetto in a move to American soccer.
