LA Galaxy II’s season is in the books, but there was still news for the club this week, as forward Augustine Williams was named USL Championship Player of the Month for September and October 2020.
Williams scored an astonishing seven goals in eight games in the final month of the regular season, taking him to second in the league on the season in scoring with 13 goals overall. The only single season in Los Dos’ history with more goals scored by a player was Jack McBean’s 15 goals in 2016. Williams’ good play also helped the team, as they clinched a playoff berth in a very competitive Group B.
