26-year-old midfielder Miguel Aguilar has signed a new contract with LA Galaxy II, the club announced today.
Aguilar, formerly of D.C. United, signed with Los Dos ahead of the 2017 campaign. Aguilar was sidelined for much of the year, tearing his ACL in the first half of the team’s season opener on March 25.
After six months of recovery, Aguilar was able to return for the team’s final game of the season, going seven minutes in their season finale.
“It’s unfortunate Miguel was sidelined last season, we were confident he was going to be a big asset for our squad,” said LA Galaxy II Head Coach Mike Muñoz.
