CARSON, Calif. – LA Galaxy II held one of the most successful open tryouts for a foreign soccer team in Japan last week.
LA Galaxy front office staff members Gordon Kljestan, Zach Wells and LA Galaxy II assistant coach Rob Becerra were in attendance for the tryouts which saw hopefuls from across Tokyo compete for a chance to be evaluated by the Galaxy II coaching staff. Not only were the tryouts valuable from a player development perspective, but also from a partnership perspective as local club JEF Chiba United has already contacted the Galaxy for the opportunity to interact on a multitude of levels.
