CARSON, Calif. -- The LA Galaxy hold the first pick in Friday's 2017 MLS Re-Entry Draft.
A total of 65 players are available for Stage 1 of the MLS Re-Entry Draft which will take place at 12:00 p.m. PT on Friday. Players who are not selected in Stage 1 will be available in Stage 2 on Dec. 21 at 11 am PT. Players may choose to opt out of the Re-Entry Process.
Players available for selection in Stage 1 of the Re-Entry Draft must meet the following criteria:
- Players not eligible for free agency who will be at least 23 years old in 2017 with a minimum of three years of MLS experience
- Players not eligible for free agency who have not received a bona fide offer and who are at least 25 years old with a minimum of four years of MLS experience, or are at least 30 years old with a minimum of eight years of MLS experience
