CARSON, Calif. – LA Galaxy head coach Curt Onalfo voiced his displeasure with the MLS Disciplinary Committee's decision to suspend Jermaine Jones and Dave Romney for the team's clash with the Portland Timbers on Sunday.
Jones (foul) and Romney (embellishment) were fined and suspended for one match for their actions during the team's 2-1 defeat to FC Dallas last week. After training on Thursday, Onalfo told reporters that the decision to give a suspension to the two players was "ridiculous."
