OS ANGELES (Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019) – The LA Galaxy will unveil a statue of legendary midfielder David Beckham and will induct the iconic player into the club’s Ring of Honor on Saturday, March 2 at Dignity Health Sports Park when the club kicks off the 2019 MLS season against the Chicago Fire (5 p.m. PT, FS1, FOX Deportes).
The #BeckhamStatue unveil, along with the brand-new Legends Plaza, will take place on Saturday, March 2 in a pregame ceremony, open to the public, at Dignity Health Sports Park beginning at 2:30 p.m. PT. LA Galaxy legend Robbie Keane, former Galaxy boss Bruce Arena, MLS commissioner Don Garber, club president Chris Klein, and Dignity Health CEO Lloyd Dean will be in attendance for the event, which will be hosted by FOX commentator Rob Stone.
