LOS ANGELES –LA Galaxy alumni are well represented among the nominees for the National Soccer Hall of Fame Class of 2019.
The candidates for the Hall of Fame are evaluated in three categories: Players, Veterans, and Builders.
Ex-Galaxy players David Beckham, Gregg Berhalter, Edson Buddle, Todd Dunivant, Kevin Hartman, Frankie Hejduk, Chris Klein, Eddie Lewis, Pablo Mastroeni, Clint Mathis, Donovan Ricketts, and Tony Sanneh have been nominated under the player category. Former Galaxy midfielder Chris Armas and assistant coach Dominic Kinnear are eligible under the Veteran category, while ex-AEG president Tim Leiweke and inaugural LA Galaxy head coach Lothar Osiander up for selection through the Builders category.
