The LA Galaxy U-16/17s advanced to the Quarterfinals in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy Playoffs with a 2-1 win over Kendall SC on Saturday. Andre Ochoa and Johnny Perez both scored in the second half to lead the Galaxy to victory.
The team topped group play thanks to a 5-2 victory over Texans SC Houston and a 3-0 win over Michigan Wolves.
The U-16/17s will return to action on Tuesday, June 25 as they take on United Futbol Academy at 4:30 p.m. PT at SoCal Sports Complex in Oceanside, Calif.
