CARSON, Calif. -- There will be no Mexican national team call-up for Jonathan dos Santos after all.
The Mexican federation announced on Sunday evening that the LA Galaxy midfielder will miss El Tri's upcoming friendlies against Iceland and Croatia due to a hamstring injury suffered in a closed-door scrimmage last Friday. Dos Santos' brother Giovani will also miss the call due to an injury of his own.
