Fresh off a cathartic first win of the season, the LA Galaxy won’t have much time to savor it, as they will host their first game at Dignity Health Sports Park since March, albeit behind closed doors, against the Seattle Sounders Wednesday.
The Galaxy downed a listless LAFC 2-0 Saturday, and LA put together by far their best performance of the season. If they can play that well every game, they’ll pick up a lot more wins and be a contender.
But it’s not looked that good very much this season, and the Sounders are no slouches, having themselves won their big rivalry game 3-0 on the road over the Portland Timbers Sunday.
