CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy will be without Giovani dos Santos for at least a week according to head coach Sigi Schmid.
The Galaxy boss confirmed on Wednesday that dos Santos will miss at least one to three weeks with right hamstring tightness suffered during the team’s 2-1 defeat to New York City FC last weekend. The injury occurred in the first half, forcing Schmid to remove the Mexican international at the half.
“It’s somewhere in between one and three weeks. We just have to see,” Schmid said. “He wants to get back out there and play.
