Giovani dos Santos admits that LA Galaxy struggling for confidence: “We have to trust in each other”

CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy’s offensive struggles continued in their latest defeat on Sunday.

The Galaxy were shutout for the third straight match and saw their winless run slump to 10 games in the club’s 3-0 home loss to the San Jose Earthquakes. Los Angeles’ scoreless streak presently stands at 331 minutes dating back to Ema Boateng’s tally in the sixth minute of their 3-1 defeat to Portland Timbers.

When told of the length of the team’s drought, Giovani dos Santos provided a glib response: “That’s a long time.”

Despite playing without Romain Alessandrini (personal issues) and with Jermaine Jones forced to the bench due to a toe issue, the Galaxy had their opportunities.
