CARSON, Calif. -- We now know all 32 nations participating in next summer's 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Peru booked the 32nd and final ticket to Russia on Wednesday, after their victory over New Zealand.
Following the completion of World Cup qualifying, all 32 teams were drawn into four pots, which are seeded based on FIFA rankings. One nation from each pot is drawn into a group, making eight groups of four teams apiece. Per FIFA regulations, only two teams from Europe can be in a group, while every other confederation can have only participant in a group.
