As anticipated, the Galaxy officially signed defender Rolf Feltscher to the club on a free transfer from Championship side Cardiff City. The 27-year-old Venezuelan international with 19 caps will take-up an International roster spot.
“Rolf is a talented outside back who has had success playing in top leagues in Europe and for the Venezuelan national team,” said LA Galaxy Head Coach Sigi Schmid. “We think highly of his soccer pedigree, his versatility and the skills he brings to our team. He will be another piece in building our backline. We are excited he is joining the LA Galaxy team.
