Daniel Steres, LA Galaxy agree to terms

With Diego Polenta electing to head back to Uruguay, it was imperative the club brought back the other positive performer on what was otherwise a miserable back line. Thursday morning, it’s been made official: The LA Galaxy announced Daniel Steres has re-signed with the club. A veteran MLS center back, the 29-year old Calabasas native returns to the league for his fifth season.

“We are excited to bring back Daniel to continue as part of our defense,” general manager Dennis te Kloese mentioned in a statement. “He is an experienced player who brings continuity to our backline and we look forward to him remaining a part his hometown club.
