Bad news for LA Galaxy midfielder Chris Pontius. The 31-year old veteran will miss the rest of the MLS 2018 season with a nagging groin issue that should require surgery.
It’s an unfortunate break for the former UC Santa Barbara star, who chipped in five goals and at one point recorded a goal or an assist in seven straight matches.
Adam Serrano was at training and got a few quotes from Dom Kinnear on the situation.
“Pontius will not be available for us for the remainder of the season,” Kinnear said.
