The Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays were locked into an extra innings battle in Game 3 of the 2025 World Series, and it included 10 consecutive scoreless innings from the eighth through 17th inning.
But Freddie Freeman had enough of the lack of scoring, and in the 18th inning, he blasted a walk-off homer in the bottom of the 18th inning against Brendon Little to give the Dodgers a 6-5 win.
The 18-inning game tied the record for the longest game in World Series history, previously set by the Dodgers and Boston Red Sox in 2018.
