Wood to miss 8 weeks with elbow debridement

WASHINGTON -- The Dodgers' starting-pitcher injury woes continued Wednesday, when the team announced lefty Alex Wood will miss eight weeks after undergoing an elbow debridement.

The procedure was to take place Wednesday afternoon in New York, the team announced.

Wood's bad news comes one day after the Dodgers placed Hyun-Jin Ryu on the 15-day disabled list with left elbow tendinitis and revealed that Clayton Kershaw had suffered a setback in his rehab from a back injury. Los Angeles has already used 12 starting pitchers this season, tied for the most in the Majors.
