LOS ANGELES -- After going 1 for 10 in his first three games with Double-A Tulsa, Cuban infielder Hector Olivera had his first big game Tuesday night.
Olivera was 3 for 3 with a grand slam, his first home run as a professional in the United States. In five games, Olivera has played third base three times and second base twice.
"It sounds like he just needs at-bats, needs to play," Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said of the internal reports on Olivera.
