USC guard Elijah Stewart to declare for NBA Draft without hiring agent

LOS ANGELES — USC guard Elijah Stewart has declared for the NBA Draft, but not hired an agent, the school confirmed Tuesday.

Without representation, Stewart can return for his senior season if he withdraws by May 24.

He is the Trojans’ third player to test the NBA waters.

Leading scorer Bennie Boatwright, a sophomore forward, and Shaqquan Aaron, a redshirt sophomore guard who transferred from Louisville, have also entered the draft without signing with agents.

Stewart, a streaky but versatile 6-foot-5 wing, is not projected to be selected in either the first or the second rounds, according to most published mock drafts.
