Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer struck out 6 more batters on Thursday night in Milwaukee. That brought his grand total to 51 punchouts for the month of April. And that number is more significant than just for winning ballgames.
Before the Dodgers season started, Bauerr announced his plan to donate $1,000 to local non-profits for every strikeout he earned in 2021. Those organizations are all focused on STEM and youth programming. The organization that benefitted from his great month of April is Think Together, a place that delivers learning programs, afterschool programs, student support services, and school improvement.
