Dodgers outfielder Trayce Thompson left Saturday's win over the Mets in the fifth inning with lower back soreness, appearing to aggravate the issue on a swing one inning earlier.
Thompson started in right field on Saturday night in place of Yasiel Puig and was 0-for-2. He reached on a fielders choice grounder to third in the fourth inning, but during that at-bat he reached for his back after an earlier swing. Thompson remained in the game until the bottom of the fifth, when Puig replaced him in right field.
