LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers made official their new training staff on Tuesday, with three new members on the staff. Neil Rampe is the new head athletic trainer, joined by new assistant trainers Nathan Lucero and Thomas Albert.
They join a staff that retains strength and conditioning coach Brandon McDaniel, back for his fourth season, physical therapist Steve Smith, in his fifth season, and massage therapist Yosuke Nakajima in his second season in that role.
Rampe was with the Diamondbacks for eight years as their manual and performance therapist, and Lucero was in the Astros organization for 23 years, including the last seven years as the head athletic trainer on the major league staff.
