The Dodgers front office is not taking the Fourth of July off as they acquired relievers Dylan Floro and Zach Nealfrom the Cincinnati Reds in exchange for Anuerys Zabala and James Marinan. The Dodgers also received international bonus money in the deal in which they can use to sign international free agents. To make room for Floro on the forty man roster, Daniel Corcino was designated for assignment.
The trade is an interesting one that gives the Dodgers an arm for their bullpen immediately. Dylan Floro is a sinkerball pitcher who the Dodgers can plug into their bullpen as soon as he arrives in LA.
