Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani had far from his best performance during Game 4 of the World Series.
Just 17 hours after going 4-for-4 with two home runs, two doubles, and five walks, Ohtani had the Herculean task of being the starting pitcher for Game 4.
The result was a very human four earned runs across six innings while striking out six and allowing one walk. He also had an 0-for-3 night at the plate with two strikeouts. Ohtani revealed after the game that his pitching performance didn’t deter him from wanting another chance in the World Series, despite not being slated to start Games 5 or 6 (or 7, if necessary).
