The Los Angeles Dodgers are getting closer to unlocking Shohei Ohtani’s full talents on the diamond.
Despite a historic MVP season that also brought L.A. the eighth championship in franchise history, Ohtani has yet to debut on the mound in a Dodgers uniform.
After a trio of live batting practice sessions, manager Dave Roberts left the door open regarding Ohtani’s next simulated inning being his last one before his first MLB pitch in Dodger blue.

“Potentially,” said Roberts when asked about the prospect of his fourth live batting practice being the last one before a debut.
