Ron Roenicke hired as Angels third base coach

LOS ANGELES -- Ron Roenicke was hired on Wednesday as third base coach by the Angels, making him the second member of the Dodgers coaching staff to leave this offseason.

Roenicke was a late addition to the Dodgers' staff, hired as third base coach on Aug. 17 in a coaching staff shuffle, with Lorenzo Bundy moving from third base coach to the dugout and assistant hitting coach John Valentin no longer in uniform for games.

Roenicke spent 11 years on Mike Scioscia's coaching staff in Anaheim, serving as third base coach from 2000-05 then as bench coach from 2006-10.
