Los Angeles Dodgers right-handed pitcher Roki Sasaki commented on his disappointing start against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday.
Sasaki made his first start for the Dodgers since May 2025, and struggled to get outs in the first inning. He allowed three runs on three hits and two walks while recording three strikeouts, and only lasted 1.1 innings despite being slated to pitch two at the beginning of the day.
“There were some positive things, but also things I need to work on,” Sasaki said through an interpreter.
“…In the bullpen, I felt pretty good about the forkball but once I got on the mound, it didn’t go well.
