After a lackluster performance in the series opener at Chase Field, the Los Angeles Dodgers look to get back on track against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday night.
Part of the reason the Dodgers have been able to build up an 88-48 record and 19-game division lead is because of their success against National League West teams. The Dodgers are 10-6 against the Diamondbacks this season and 38-20 overall against their division.
Rookie right-hander Tony Gonsolin takes the mound as they look to continue that dominance. The 25-year-old does not have fond memories at Chase Field despite it being where he made his MLB debut on June 26.
