The first Dodgers-Phillies postseason matchup since 2009 started on Saturday, and some Philadelphia players have been weirdly but refreshingly complimentary of LA. Bryce Harper did say earlier this season that "only losers complain" about what the Dodgers did in the postseason, but JT Realmuto also described them as the "epitome of what Major League Baseball should be."
Phillies fans aren't in that same mindset. When Shohei Ohtani was warming up for his first ever postseason start on the mound, he was booed viciously by fans at Citizens Bank Park. When Freddie Freeman got on base in the second in Game 1, he was also booed viciously (though, to be fair, he has far more history with the Phillies as a former Brave).
