The Dodgers on Friday placed reliever Pedro Baez on the disabled list with right biceps tendonitis, retroactive to June 12. Catcher and infielder Kyle Farmer was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Baez last pitched on June 9, tossing a scoreless inning against the Braves. The right-hander has made 30 appearances in 2018 with a 3.23 ERA in 30 2⁄3 innings, giving up 12 runs (11 earned), 30 hits and 16 walks while striking out 36.
The Dodgers now have a total of nine pitchers currently on the disabled list.
