Dodgers manager Don Mattingly was evasive when asked about his failure to use relief pitcher Kenley Jansen in Wednesday's 7-6 loss in Colorado, saying only that 'he wasn't available.' That situation came up 'during the game,' Mattingly said, offering no other specifics.

DENVER – Strange things happen at Coors Field. Some of them stranger than others.

With no sign of their closer Kenley Jansen in the bullpen, the Dodgers blew a two-run lead in the ninth inning and lost to the Colorado Rockies, 7-6, Wednesday night.

Things only got stranger when the Dodgers opened the clubhouse doors to the media following the game.
