Mookie Betts is a six-time Gold Glove winner, but exclusively for his work in the outfield. His move to shortstop last season was clumsy and, to no one's surprise, he didn't win a Gold Glove or even receive a nomination. Instead, he had Dodgers fans begging the front office to put him back in right field, especially after Teoscar Hernández's failures at the position.
This year, Betts is not only an above-average defensive shortstop, but one of the best in the game. And he did receive a Gold Glove nomination for it, alongside the Cardinals' Masyn Winn and the Braves' Nick Allen.
