Five years after his tragic death, Kobe Bryant remains a titan and figurehead in Los Angeles sports. This year, the Dodgers paid tribute to him with a bobblehead day on Aug. 8, when his daughter Bianka threw out the first pitch to Freddie Freeman. Last year, they gave out a No. 8 Dodgers jersey.
They also invoked Bryant's "job's not finished" from the 2009 NBA finals (which the Lakers went on to win, with Bryant as MVP) during their World Series run last year, which was given a stamp of approval by Vanessa Bryant, who posted "Job's finished" on Instagram after they brought the championship home.
