Players that enter the game in the third inning rarely earn this honor, but Wills Montgomerie pitched 4.2 innings of one run relief to record his second win of the year. Montgomerie struck out ten of the fourteen outs he recorded, upping his season total to 23 across 15.2 innings of work. Montgomerie’s ERA dropped to 2.30 on the season.
