MLB Rumors: Dodgers Focused On Acquiring Right-Handed Bat & Established Starting Pitcher

With a lineup that’s featured the likes of Adrian Gonzalez, Joc Pederson, Corey Seager, Cody Bellinger and Max Muncy over recent years, the Los Angeles Dodgers have regularly sought a right-handed position player to help provide balance.

Their search has notably resulted in trades for Carlos Ruiz and David Freese, and the signing of A.J. Pollock. Although Bellinger, Muncy and Seager improved against left-handed pitching last season, the Dodgers have again been linked to righty position players.

They were spurned by Anthony Rendon, who favored the L.A. Angels, and reportedly are interested in the switch-hitting Francisco Lindor and Mookie Betts.
