The New York Yankees have suffered yet another injury, this time to another trade deadline acquisition. Utility man Amed Rosario was placed on the 10-day injured list with a left SC joint sprain on Sunday.
Additionally, the Philadelphia Phillies recalled All-Star reliever David Robertson. The 40-year-old right-hander is preparing for his 17th season in MLB (and third stint with the Phillies) as Philadelphia looks to make another deep October run with Robertson in the clubhouse.
Finally, the Texas Rangers signed catcher Omar Narvaez to a minor league deal. With 10 seasons of MLB experience under his belt, the veteran backstop looks to get back into the show after seven brief at-bats with the Chicago White Sox this past April.
