The Angels two-way superstar will be a free agent in about five months from now, free to sign with any MLB team for the first time in over five years.
The Dodgers have been considered one of the favorites to land the superstar since the Ohtani talk began, as they can offer him a chance to stay nearby and an opportunity to win.
The Dodgers were quiet this past offseason as they tried to clear the books for Ohtani, however, none of it will matter if he elects to sign elsewhere in the offseason.
