Mike Bolsinger leads four Dodgers seeking to earn injured starter Brett Anderson's job

GLENDALE, Ariz. – It’s the harsh reality of professional sports. One man’s bulging disc is another man’s window of opportunity.

With Brett Anderson sidelined for the next three to five months, there is more competition in the Dodgers’ spring camp as several pitchers are now jockeying for the opportunity to replace Anderson in the starting rotation.

“Yeah, in the back of your mind, you’re thinking that,” Dodgers right-hander Mike Bolsinger said. “But at the same time, you feel for him and how disappointing it is for him. And me, I’ve still got some things I need to work on this spring.
