Mets’ Francisco Lindor Has Broken Toe After Hit by Pitch From Dodgers’ Tony Gonsolin

New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor is out of Thursday’s lineup for the series finale against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Lindor has a broken right pinky toe and labeled himself as day-to-day.

Lindor was hit by a slider from Dodgers right-hander Tony Gonsolin in the first inning of Wednesday’s loss.

Francisco Lindor said he has a broken right pinky toe. He said, as of now, he’s day-to-day and an IL stint is not on the table. It’s a pain tolerance thing. Sounds a lot like Mookie Betts’ toe situation. He’s not in today’s lineup.
