Meaningless Yankees-Nationals trade features a whole lot of bad Dodgers memories

On Saturday night, the New York Yankees and Washington Nationals pulled off a trade that will be a mere footnote when this year's deadline is all said and done. And somehow, it rocked the world of Los Angeles Dodgers fans.

The Nats traded infielder Amed Rosario to the Yankees and received Clayton Beeter and Browm Martinez (yes, Browm). Remember a couple of those names?

Rosario was acquired by the Dodgers two times — in 2023 and 2024 — but barely made an impact and did not participate in either of those playoff runs.
