LOS ANGELES —— Kenta Maeda had his second straight seven-inning start and he pitched well but German Marquez was just better as he and the Rockies won 3-1 and have now won the first two games of this series. Just like Friday night, the Rockies got an eight-inning start and Marquez at times was just untouchable.
Marquez gave up one run and two hits and he struck out nine Dodgers. Maeda pitched seven innings for the second time this week and he pitched well. Maeda gave up three runs (two earned) and five hits.
